For those sick of blog posts on Alberta politics...

Bev Oda paid $16 for a glass of orange juice. In fairness, it was a really good glass of orange juice.

  • A "Continental Breakfast", consisting of a croissant, slice of cheese, coffee, and juice was charged at 10 Pounds at a mid-scale Marriott outside London - in 1996.

  • From the same hotel mentioned at 9:57pm, their menu today lists ...

    Breakfast | Continental Breakfast
    Sample Menu

A basket of Freshly Baked Rolls, Croissants, Danish Pastries & Muffins
With Butter, Low Fat Spread, Fruit Preserve & Honey

A choice of Cereals, Chilled Juices & Hot Beverages

    £15.95 per person

That would be $25.50 at today's exchange rate, or $33.50 at the exchange rate in the '90s.

$16 for a glass of juice at a hotel in The City doesn't seem out of line in comparison.
