That rumour has been floating around for awhile. He has worked long and hard for the constituency.
The Liberal MLA for Peace River South, Blair Lekstrom, stepped down under the guise of flip flopping on the HST, but it's widely known he wants Hill's job. This way he can distance himself from the debacle that is the HST debate in BC and make it sound like he listens to his constituents.

Good riddance. Another useful idiot who buried their morals and ethics to do Harper's bidding.
Yes, Lekstrom would be a perfect fit. His "i'm for the HST except when its about me" would fit perfectly with the silent partner of the HST hit team...
