    But? I thought only Fiberals were corrupt? What kind of skeletons could Alberta Conservatives have? Aren't they gods choosen people?

    I am confused.

    Could it be that Alberta Conservatives are Harpocrites?

    How else could one explain why they keep voting in people who assault teenage girls, the handicapped and the homeless?

    That doesn't sound very Christian, Conservative or Compassionate? (Well at least not Christian or Compassionate)

    I must just be confused, perhaps I have had too much CBC and MSM "brainwashing".

    Because everyone knows Conservatives can do no wrong, and Fiberals are the corrupt ones.

  • If this retires Klein early it's got to be a great day at 24 Sussex.

    The page thing was yet another indication Klein is past his best before date.

    The spin however is hilarious. Dufus threw the document delivered by the page over his shoulder.

  • I truly hope for the sake of my desire to have entertianing political stories to read that Albera Tories pick somebody even more amusing and insane than Klien.

    Which of the potential candidates are drunks? I would start with being a drunk as a must have condition of leadership.

  • Ah... Oberg is a putz. Remember, this is the same guy who thought you'd all enjoy seeing roadsigns and posters lining the sides of the highways in our province.

    His only idea to date, and not so great.

    It would have ended up being posters of "Vote Olberg", as far as the eyes could see.

    So long Lyle, go back to teaching, you'll never be premier.

  • I think that Manitoba Liberal's comment is shameful. They're political opponents, yes, but they're people first and foremost. To desire for someone, whether a political rival or a spurned best friend, to be an alcoholic is an awful thing to say and displays an incredible lack of respect. You're talking about a self-destructing habit that damages a person's ability to have meaningful relationships with their friends and families, that can indeed destroy families, and you think it's a great idea that a person who will take over the reins of the province must be an alcoholic. Why not a preference for a clear-minded Conservative rival, so that there can be a deep and engaging political debate that ultimately compels voters to make the best choice for their leadership?

  • Lyle Oberg has a long history of being a little too blue behind the ears. Klein has a long history of beating all internal dissent with a baseball bat.

    Oberg stupidly says something stupid, 19 months too early, and Big Ralphie's boys decide to do a little knee capping for da boss.

    People have been making comparisons between Chretien and Harper, I put forth that the best comparisons are between Jean and Ralph.

    This morning on Radio-Canada's "Les coulisses du pouvoir", Daniel Lessard talked about your blog and said it was quite influential among Liberals.
