It's somewhat reassuring...

...to find out that the Liberals aren't the only ones making asses of themselves in cyberspace.

Courtesy of Bouquets of Grey (formerly Buckets of Grewal), comes ramblings of Peter Goldring's campaign manager (or someone impersonating him) has been posting online in support of Alberta separation. Not surprising, but still troubling if true.

Anyone who lives in Edmonton East should certainly consider helping out the Liberal candidate there, long time blogger Nicole Martel.

  • I'm helping alright, I'm driving up to Edmonton Center and knocking on doors holding a "Vote for Laurie Hawn" sign in my hand. Annie get yer gun, (oh wait, you gave yours up) and get the heck outta here.

  • Gee as a proud Ukrainian Nicole sure has been silent about Michael Ignatieff. Opps he's a Liberal too.

  • I guess you mean "anyone in Edmonton east that has never said anything positive about western alienation and/or separatism"?

  • I will NEVER vote for a Liberal, especially in Edmonton East. Peter Goldring would have my vote right now even if he came out in support of Alberta Separation..something I am against.

  • There is a distinction you are failing to take note of. Whereas the latest tory mis-step comes from a local campaign manager, most of, nay, all of, liberal mis-steps have come from senior members within the party, e.g. prime-minister's director of communications and the executive vp of the party, and a minister of the crown. The liberals seem to have, inadvertantly, of course, made plain how they view canada and their fellow canadians: with contempt, distain, and through lenses of racial intolerence.
